Why these numbers hold up

Our customers are the dealerships that buy and sell these vehicles. Your report shows the figures they price against — same data, same engine, same day.

Nothing is tuned to your situation. Every listing, date and calculation is printed in full, so whoever reviews your report can check the work themselves.

Scope

What this is

  • Every comparable listing in your market — the complete set, not a selection
  • Each adjustment stated in full, with the basis shown
  • Timestamped to the moment the data was collected
  • Reproducible — identical inputs produce identical figures

What this is not

  • A signed appraisal. Some purposes require a licensed appraiser — check before ordering
  • A physical inspection. Condition is recorded as declared
  • An opinion of value. The report shows what the market shows, and no more

No outcome is warranted. Whether the report affects a settlement or a negotiation depends on the recipient and the facts. Your access link is valid for 30 days — market data ages, and its evidentiary value ages with it.

How the figures are built

Comparable selectionMethod v2.6 §1
The search widens from your province to nationwide until the sample is large enough. Trim is resolved from the VIN, not the seller's ad — so an XLE isn't compared against an LE.
Sample compositionMethod v2.6 §2
No single seller may contribute more than three listings to the final set, so one dealer's pricing policy cannot dominate the sample. Each report discloses the pre-cap count, the number of distinct sellers, and how many listings the cap excluded.
KilometresMethod v2.6 §3
The mileage adjustment is fitted from the comparable set itself — asking price regressed against kilometres. Where the set shows no reliable relationship, the adjustment is suppressed and the report says so.
Why these prices differMethod v2.6 §7
Each report states what share of the price spread across the comparable set is accounted for by mileage, with the fitted relationship charted against every listing. The measure describes the set; it never filters or reweights it.
ConditionMethod v2.6 §6
Recorded, not applied. Your declarations appear exactly as you enter them, so the market figures and your vehicle's particulars stay separately verifiable.
